An ongoing project undertaken by TW Group involved the commercial refurbishment of a Farmers retail store located in Napier. Our Construction business was specifically contracted for the structural strengthening of the building.
Throughout the 6-month period, close collaboration and detailed communication were maintained with the Farmers team, including the store manager, to align with their operational needs. This facilitated the creation of a tailored sequencing strategy that meant the retail store could stay open throughout the construction period.
Exclusion zones were strategically set up within the store which required meticulous planning and execution, including sound dampening measures and a dust free workspace integrated into the exclusion zones. The quality of temporary hoarding was commended as ‘looking like it would be like part of the store if we removed the cones and signage’.
Our electrical and painting and masonry business also completed many elements of the refurbishment due to their strong reputation and attention to detail.
