- Qualified Carpenters: Responsible for the onsite delivery of various construction projects, ensuring all work is completed to specification and best industry practice.
- Apprentice Carpenters: Responsible for supporting the carpenter to deliver various construction projects.
- Labourers: Responsible for performing various tasks to support daily operations.
What does this look like?
- Work to a project plan supplied by the Project Manager.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble various materials.
- Fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames.
- Erecting framework, laying sub-flooring and floorboards, and verifying trueness of structures.
- Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.
What do you need to succeed?
- Qualified Carpenter: Relevant trade qualification with LBP licensing is preferred.
- Apprentice Carpenter: Actively involved in gaining New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry Level 4.
- Exceptional planning and co-ordination ability and thorough understanding of construction techniques and standards.
- Ability to understand and work from detailed plans and deliver high-quality workmanship within specific timeframes.
- Current and clean Full Class 1 NZ Driver’s License.
