The Opportunity
Reporting to the Site Foreman, this role will require you to perform various functions in carrying out construction projects using building plans and diagrams to ascertain the proper dimensions, shape, and design of a form structure.

Key Priorities
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble timber, plywood, and metal formwork systems.
- Install, align, and secure formwork according to blueprint and specifications.
- Ensure formwork is level, aligned, and securely braced.
- Strip and dismantle formwork once concrete has set.
- Take accurate measurements and cut materials to build forms for concrete pours.
What do you need to succeed?
- 2+ years relevant prior experience in Carpentry or a related field.
- Proven prior hands-on experience working with pod/waffle slab foundations.
- Strong understanding of the New Zealand Building Code.
- Reliable and consistent attendance with strong work ethic.
- Exceptional eye for detail in all aspects of concrete placement and formwork.
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Takes pride in workmanship with quality being non-negotiable.
- Experience with various concrete placement and finishing techniques.
- Current and clean New Zealand Driver’s License.
