We are pleased to offer fully subsidised Southern Cross health insurance which covers Wellbeing One and Day to Day Module to all permanent employees (full-time and part-time).

You can expand your health insurance cover by opting for additional modules and/or upping the plan to Wellbeing Two. Please be aware that additional members, additional modules, and a change of plan result in extra costs. 

 

How to join Southern Cross:

For new members, the process of registering is simple and is guaranteed to only take 10 to 20 minutes. Simply, click the link here to begin your application.

You will need to select ‘Joining through employers work scheme’ and provide the group code relevant to your division to progress with the application. You will be required to complete a basic questionnaire, input your personal details, and select the cover you are wanting.

For existing members, you will need call Southern Cross on 0800 800 181 to transfer your policy to the group scheme. This is estimated to take 30 minutes and you will be required to provide the group code relevant to your division.

Your respective group code is listed on the Southern Cross flyer included in your employment agreement.

  1. Immediate cover for qualifying pre-existing health conditions for you and your immediate family if you join within 90 days from your date of eligibility (start-date).
  2. Immediate family members receive group discount.
  3. Free cover for the third and any subsequent children under the age of 21.
