This development, managed by TW Property, saw 28 new sections brought to the suburb of Frimley. Named after ‘big fish’ in Māori, Ikanui Road, has central proximity to excellent schools, the Hawke’s Bay Hospital and Sports Park and easy access to the Napier and CHB Expressway.
Also involved in the project were our Civil and Infrastructure team who efficiently completed the project before the initially planned timeframe of 247 days. The comprehensive scope of work involved roading and pavement construction, as well as installing the necessary three-waters infrastructure. The civil team also worked on decontaminating the pesticide-heavy soil in order to meet national environmental standards. They then re-purposed the soil rather than using up valuable land-fill space.
Our plumbing team also worked on the development, ensuring the network required for water supply, sewerage, and stormwater management on each section was installed correctly and met necessary infrastructure standards.
TW Traffic Management put in place temporary traffic management measures that remained in place until the completion of the development.
