TW Group Supports the Build of Mamia Whare: A Home for New Māmā and Tamariki
Exciting progress is underway in the construction of Mamia’s brand-new, purpose-built whare – a dedicated space designed to support new māmā and their tamariki.
With frames and trusses up and the roof on – this milestone marks a significant step forward in building a 185m² fit-for-purpose space where māmā can access support, build community, and gain new skills.
Mamia is the brainchild of Dr. Aria Graham, whose innovative Māori model places aroha, whānau and connection at the heart of early motherhood. The initiative offers wāhine from all backgrounds a place of comfort as they navigate the early stages of parenting.
TW Group are proud to contribute our expertise in property development, construction, and trades to this important kaupapa.

With a growing number of whānau engaging with Mamia, the new whare will be instrumental in meeting the critical need for maternal support services in the region.
