About the Role
Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced, solutions‑driven environment where quality, timelines, and client satisfaction are non‑negotiable? Do you excel at bringing structure to complexity, coordinating multiple moving parts, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships even under pressure?
We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented professional to take full ownership of construction projects from initial planning and design coordination through to final delivery. In this role, you will lead the day‑to‑day management of project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation—ensuring work progresses efficiently and aligns with strategic objectives.
You’ll oversee subcontractor performance, drive on‑site productivity, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams. Your ability to balance operational demands with high‑quality standards will be key to ensuring every project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a level of excellence our clients expect.
What does this look like?
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from planning to handover.
- Coordinate labour, manage subcontractors, and oversee procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Track and manage project budgets, identifying variances early and mitigating risks.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, clients, and design teams to resolve challenges.
- Drive project momentum by managing timelines, resources, and key milestones.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance, safety, and excellent workmanship.
What do you need to succeed?
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project management.
- Strong understanding of building codes, compliance requirements, and health & safety regulations.
- Knowledge of local council processes and consenting requirements (highly desirable).
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar (preferred).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
