About the Role
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Foreman Plumber who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys leading a team on-site.
This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role where you’ll run jobs, mentor apprentices, and deliver high-quality plumbing work across a variety of new build residential and large-scale commercial projects.
What does this look like?
- Lead plumbing teams on-site, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day workflow and strong team performance.
- Coordinate jobs and maintain clear communication with clients, builders, other trades, and suppliers.
- Read plans, organise materials, and manage job documentation to keep projects on track.
- Deliver projects on time and to an exceptional standard, reinforcing our commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with NZ plumbing regulations and all health & safety requirements.
- Mentor apprentices and supporting junior team members to develop their skills and confidence.
What do you need to succeed?
- NZ Qualified and Certified Plumber with current licence.
- Previous foreman, leading hand, or supervisory experience.
- A hands-on leader who leads by example.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work autonomously whilst keeping relevant parties informed.
- Excellent organisation, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Current and clean Full Class 1 New Zealand Driver’s Licence.
