About the Role

The Accounts Receivable Assistant is essential for delivering financial and administrative support to the organisation. This role involves receiving payments and managing expenses, which includes the receipt, processing, verification, and reconciliation of invoices.

What does this look like? You will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable function for TW Plumbing, and any other business units as required:

  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers promptly and accurately
  • Record and process incoming payments, ensuring they are applied correctly to customer accounts
  • Regularly reconcile customer accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
  • Follow up on overdue accounts through phone calls, emails, and correspondence to ensure timely payments
  • Address inquiries from customers regarding invoices, payment terms, and account status
  • Work closely with the team and other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure smooth operations
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounts receivable processes and enhance efficiency

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
